Carrie Sewell is a fine artist who primarily works in acrylics, pastel and pencil. She continues to study and practice incorporating traditional styles into her work.  Her curiosity with people and nature inspires her to paint portraits, still life and landscapes, and to share that interest through her art.

Originally from Denver, Colorado, Carrie spent her childhood in the city.  Special trips to the Rocky Mountains and high desert with her grandparents gave her love and respect for the natural world.  Moving to Maine to homestead and raise her family, Carrie has found another home in the forests and oceans of the Eastern Coast.  Her work reflects her passion for nature and inspiration from the people in her life.
